The galleries below reflect my interests, which photographically are quite diverse. When motivated to do so, I don’t mind putting my own spin on images. At other times I prefer an image be more faithful to the subject. In my opinion, Photographers should not avoid following their personal tastes.
Photography should be fun . . . .
The sole reason for hanging an image in my gallery, or for placing one here, is that I enjoy it. I try to be true to my personal values, and try not to produce work based on what I think others might like.
Composition is a very complex issue, and I’ll not expand on it here, other than to admit that much of my photography seems to comply with the concept of keep it simple and avoid the center.
